What kind of journalism is this? Why can't you tell which products this news is about? Without this information, the article is basically meaningless.

Shhhhh - "certain high-technology" products means TOP SECRET !!!

Not a word about restrictive tariffs on certain high-technology products entering the US, though! (Eg: polymer electrolyte membranes for dual-use civilian/military fuel cell power units. Just try shipping one of those babies back if it arrives defective from the US manufacturer!) Level playing field? Hah!

I still think we need to start reviewing all these "trade deals" The "EU" has got a huge PR problem here in the US, no support for the anti-terrorist war, beating US companies senseless in their "courts" claiming anti-competitve behavior while supporting their "home country" companies, I could go on & on & on & ... LOL

cabdriver, I agree.
"beating US companies senseless in their "courts" claiming anti-competitve behavior while supporting their "home country" companies"
The microsoft case took the cake. Imagine the EU admitting that they can't compete and demanding that microsoft simply hand over all their trade secrets. What a farce the EU has become.
